Prunedale hosted the 2009 Golden State National this past weekend. The track is ok, better than what it was last year but still needs some fine tuning. Allie Dragoo flew into San Jose on Wednesday so I went to pick her up then. Thursday we went to practice to ride the track so we didn’t have to win practice on Friday, Thursday night after practice Rob Riofrio and his buddy Scott from Pennsylvania came over to stay at my house for the weekend .We Had a Wii bowling tournament and Rob and I stayed up until 2am messing with IPhones and apps haha. Friday we hit practice round 3:30pm did a few laps hung out for a bit then headed home. Stumpy also spent the night on Friday.
Saturday morning rolled around and we headed to the track to do some work. I had a awesome day and took home the win. I was pumped cause iv never really felt comfortable racing Prunedale on the old track so I was pleased with the results.
After racing we headed back and got some Chipotle. That is my favorite restaurant haha so if you ever want to buy me a gift.. just get me a gift card to Chipotle.
Sunday there was a record turn out haha a whopping 40 motos. Super-X had 2 racks so we went straight into the main. I had 7 in the main and smashed the gate but rode a decent race finishing up 2nd.
Next race will be the SX in South Africa.. Should be a good one!
